I need a little help...

Sorry guys I didn't know where else to put this... being a previous vendor this is as good a place as any I suppose. I'm just going to put this right out there. I'm in the middle of a really messy divorce. I'm on my own with the 3 kids, have been since August. I have not been able to find work, and ...

Err I hate to be the voice of reason here but if ich was not often present in the wild there would be no reason for creatures such as cleaner shrimps, wrasse, etc to be present in those systems. Ich does in fact occur in the wild. I'd be interested to see what research states that it is not a common...

As many people can disagree as they like, that's the nature of the hobby. All I'm saying is that in my experience making the environment less stressful fixes the fish. When do tangs get ich? Let's see, when they're not acclimated properly, not handled properly, your pH, salinity, nitrates/nitrites/e...

Oyy you don't have to "medicate" or treat a fish with a little bit of ich. And freshwater baths make them stress more. Repeat after me... "All fish have ich naturally, their IMMUNE system suppresses it". Make sure parameters are good in your tank, that no one is picking on him, a...

Just because something is deemed "reef safe" does not mean that it's invert safe or small fish safe. It can live in your reef environment without bothering your corals but kiss your shrimp, hermits, crabs, and other critters of the sort goodbye. Sargassum and Blue Throat triggers are both ...

I'm done.. store closing.

Guys, it's been quite a time I've had for the past 5 years both good and bad, running the store. As most of you know, I'm set to have the new baby on the 8th. With two little ones at home and being completely burned out on the store, I will be closing it before the 7th. Yes, I'm talking April. Someo...

HUGE Order on its way to Fat Fish

We're expecting a very large order of fish and inverts to come in to the store asap (we'll be unpacking it sometime tomorrow) so stop by this week! We're going to have a great selection of saltwater fish, not just the common stock you've been seeing everywhere for months now. Look forward to seeing ...

Take out the impeller and look at it. It should be totally smooth and not have any scratches or lines on it. The impeller may have just gotten beat up in there running dry, you could try a new impeller but honestly you will prob just need to replace the pump.

Good luck with your new store. It's a tough business and a tough time to open something like this, that being said I do wish you the best.

Thanks
