skimmers yes or no
i have 29 gal with live rock and live sand 3 damsel a few snails and 2 snake polyps and daisy polyps do i have to have a skimmer or can i get buy without one im not going to keep much more than that in the tank im going to get a 75 gal started up soon i hope but just trying to see what the pros thin...

i have a white sponge looking stuff on some of my live rock i dont see it on all my liverock but its been there for about a year or so i dont think it's harmful just tryin to see if someone new what it was or if it is trying to take over the world starting with my tank

Well most things we (me and my wife) have learned has been trial and error.
