It would be great having a good saltwater store here in MS! I second the recommendation for Reef Crystals. I know I spend a lot ordering online for my salt tanks and would prefer buying local. James what store did you have? Noticed you said "reopening."

Sounds like they may be trying to establish who is the dominate female and who is the male. As you probably know with clownfish one will become the male and usually the larger one will stay female. My false perc pair are currently going through this. They are fighting a lot and during this time of s...

I really wanted to get a flameangel but read that they are prone to nip at clam mantels. I have 2 clams and it's not worth the risk. Also read it is hit or miss with being reef safe. Have you looked at swallowtail angels. They are one of very few truly reef safe but they are large angels and not as ...

How did the move go? I am really interested as will be moving my 75G into a 180G in about a week or 2. Just have to finish the plumbing. At least I won't be having to wait and move the 75 first as you are having to do as the 180 will be in a different room. I will take the 75 down permanently. Anyon...

I have ordered from them several times in past with great results. This week I ordered 9 bags of sand(30 lbs each) along with 3 large buckets of salt & shipping was only $15 total! Can't beat that. You know they must be taking a loss to ship that cheap. The sand arrived yesterday-each bag was in...

We went to Pascagoula Friday and Mike at Oceanview showed us several of their large RR aquariums. Their tanks are very well made with thick glass. We will be getting one with corner overflows. They can also make it with either a center glass brace like Oceanic or Eurobracing. Was very impressed with...

Thanks for the replies. Makes me feel better about ordering one. I really didn't want to go with an AGA due to the type of "plastic" braces they use. Would feel better on a large tank to have a heavy glass brace. I have a 100G freshwater tank made by Oceanview and it is very well made. Was...

Oceanview Aquariums

Does anyone have one of their RR tanks. I have a couple of their tanks that are used for freshwater and they are very well made. I am in planning stages for upgrading to a 180G. Have considered getting one from Oceanview but I am not sure about their overflows. Lfs here in Biloxi sells them but didn...

Best place to order new aquarium from?

Would like to purchase new 180G RR tank soon. Unsure who to order it from. Would like it to be either Oceanview or Oceanic. Not really any place left here on Ms coast to order from. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Trip This Wkend to Progressive

Anyone been to Progressive Marine lately? Thinking of taking trip from here on MS coast to Mobile tomorrow and wondered if they had much coral to chose from. Was by there about a month ago and didn't find they had much livestock/coral.

Unit measures 20 x 11x 3.5". I used it on a 20 1/2" wide Oceanic cube tank. It will fit up to 21" wide using the legs.
