Sounds like a no-compete clause to me. That's the only thing that makes since. Just match the specs and don't tell them what it is for.

Yep... it wasn't an 'aquarium grade' carbon per se. They make a large selection of the stuff. I simply matched the specification for one of the aquarium grade resellers to the specification for one of USFilters' GAC. It was rumored that the resellers bought it from USFilters.

Kevin, I'd like to get the 'rabbit snails' breeding again. Would you be willing to give yours up? I have 1 or maybe 2.

If you're willing to give them up, let me know what you want for the 2 you have. I'll be back in Mobile the weekend of Mardi Gras and can pick them up.

They were Columbellid sp. and they bred well in peoples tanks. Only 1 of mine survived the move over here. I'd like to find a few more to get the group going again. They looked like this:

Does anyone still have any of Liz's snails and are they still breeding? I think Andy, Snoop, Terry, and Scott all had them.
