I agree with amphiprion in that it looks similar to Pectnia. Try getting a pic thats not only under actinic.

If you are willing to spend the money on the tunze you shouldn't be disapointed with it. Also the Deltec hang on is supposed to be really good. I have used seaclones and prizms and they are in the trash now because they were nothing but problems for me.

.5 can easily contribute to the hair algae you are experiencing. What kind of unit are you using? I would contact the manufacture and get all new cartridges and a new membrane.

Yes its an LPS, Goniopora usually seems to do better in lower flow areas and you want to feed it regularly.

I have never kept it but from what i have read about it you want to place it in an area of moderate to higher flow, and you want to feed it when the lights go out. I read that once it gets used to getting fed when the lights go out it will start opening up right when the lights turn off. You will al...

First make sure you pH, Alkalinity, and Calcium are all up to the levels they need to be at. Then just try to get a small frag from someone on the board or see if one of the stores has any small cheap frags and try that.

Don't let anyone tell you that have to have a calcium reactor, or metal halides. You just want a lot of water movement and as close a possible to NSW conditions. A good protien skimmer always helps out too.
