Need Snails

Over the last 6 years all of my algae eating snails have died off. The last turbo kicked the bucket a few weeks ago. Anyone have some snails or hermits they want to get rid of or anyone planning a group buy?

Green Candy Cane

I have 2 colonies of bright green Candy Cane. One is pictured in the back and has about 50 heads on it. The other isn't pictured but has a little over 20 heads on it. I'm asking $30 for the 20+ head colony and $50 for the 50+ head. The 50 head is probably about the size of a softball. If i get no of...

Re: Looking for fish and coral

I have several clusters of bright green candy cane coral, frags of pink birdsnest, hammer coral and some unmounted devil's hand. Also have some sort of light green polypy type coral that comes out of purple tubes.. no idea what that is :) I am needing a new pump and would love to defray the cost. Le...

Need a pump

My MAG5 that has been running for 6 years finally gave out on me. I'm looking for another or something similar but reliable. I'd prefer to trade for some of the corals i have if possible. I have a cluster of about 30-40 heads of bright green candy cane coral, some unanchored devil's hand, 2 head pie...

Re: Question....Coral colors

Well, we are.. i think it is your combination of bulbs. I think that you need t o do some reading on bulb color and the affect that has on corals. Unfortunately, unless someone has the exact same setup as you, i doubt anyone can tell you for sure which bulbs will work the best. When i had PC lights,...

Re: Question....Coral colors

Different bulb temperature (color) will bring out or develop different colors in your corals. Intensity can also be an issue. For growth, i've read 10k bulbs are best. However, the colors will usually look blah. As an example, i have 10k halide bulbs which cause a noticeable increase in growth of my...

Re: Selling some frags. Part 2

I have both pink (purple) birdnest and green. I don't currently have any AOG frags left. I do have several Devil's Armor though. Prices should be on the first page.

Well, a water change is one of the things that can make the skimmer not produce foam. If the water is good, changing it can cause more stress than the bubbles i would think. I would solve the bubble problem in the tank as opposed to changing the water. That's just me though :)

Nothing wrong with micro bubbles in the skimmer. changes to the water or cleaning equipment, etc.. can cause the skimmers to produce no foam. If it's a new skimmer, give it a couple of days. Now, the aquarium will get bubbles if there isn't enough water covering the return pump, or possible from the...
