12,000 GPH!!!!!! Is this in the 75? Thats like 160x turnover. I'm surprised you can keep the sand down with that. Now you got me wanting to add more flow. I only have about 36x turnover.

I really like the aquascape. I'm a fan of the islands on each side, it will look really good when everything grows in. Just a suggestion but I think you could use the other 20# of rock and make the left side higher than the right. Like a tower going straight up. Thats just my opinion though it looks...

Try to get that pump up higher in the tank it should increase airflow. Hopefully that will work and you can get some of those pretty corals you seen today :D

Im not familiar with this skimmer but it looks like the pump is very deep in the water. I know that some HOT skimmers perform better the higher you can get the pump because of head pressure and other reasons like more nutrients accumlulate on the surface of the water. 120 tank, stand and sump

Its a 60"x18"x26" 120g that has only been used for fresh water. Very clean and no scratches. I started to set it up for saltwater but had to move before I finished it. The back is painted black with krylon fusion, I built a 30g sump for it. Thats as far as I got. The tank has not been...
