I am setting up my 18 gallon nano and am going to run 175 watt MH, do I need supplemental atinic lights to go with it, there won't be much room left under the canopy after I install the 175 MH. If I used 20K do I really need the supplemental? Thanks Dave

I took mine out to clean the intake and impeller which I do about once a month to all my pumps. When I took out the impeller the magnet has a metal (i don't know why) covering and the covering was coming apart. It could have eaten a hole in the housing and caused alot of trouble. I would give it time and good flow for the first couple of weeks until it decides to open up. After it opens up you can move it around to see where it likes it best. But it does take a while sometimes to fully open when you first get them especially if they were shipped.
