She's just about 15 mos. old now :D When Rudy is a little bit older we will definately have to come and check you guys out. I just don't like bringing him around other people's animals before he has all of his shots. I had a good scare when Mieke was a puppy and someone walked into the vet's clinic ...

Yes, you can glue softies, but be warned that any more than about 15 seconds out of the water and the coral will start to burn due to the glue. Also, it's going to still be likely to detach and walk off. Just make sure it's a gel-based glue & you've got an elastic band or some toothpicks as a ba...

Would I be overdriving the bulbs by doing this?
No, not at all. It just means the ballast can handle up to two 54w bulbs.

You really have to hold the nikon still to get good shots though, they're wonderful cameras, but they can put out a lot of blurry pictures if the camera or the object you're photographing is moving a lot. Don't feed it more than once every 4-6 weeks. Anemones have a very slow metabolism... they are hurt more by overfeeding than underfeeding. Don't pull it off of a rock either, damage to the base could kill it. Beyond those two general rules they're easy ;)
