No Problem Sue! Milton is ENE of P'Cola. It took us ~1hr 15min to get home from Andy's house after the last meeting, but that was obeying the speed limit. And you don't need to take the I-10 parking lot, I mean bridge! If you want to map it, the address is 6640 Imperial Dr. Milton. Hope to see you a...

Amp- Ok, thanks for clearing up the bacteria topic for me:) In your experience, do they get scratches often? I have this vision in my head now that I'm going to be spending more time treating the little guys and gals for infections instead of enjoying them. How about compatibility? Can you mix diffe...

DTs raises pure cultures then mixes them during the bottling process. It would not be wise to do anything other than that. IME we observed different growth rates and nutrient demands in our phyto, which are some of the ones DTs uses in their mixes. Either way, we used less F/2 per liter of culture t...

See, the temp thing is what's got me. I've seen that it should be kept lower to keep bacteria in check, but I'm not getting why there would be more bacteria than in a reef or fowlr tank. Is it a bacteria that will attack them or just one that'll break down waste and deplete the O2? In any case, you ...

Help w/ Seahorse Tank
Well, I don't have it yet. But I'm thinking about setting up a 20h or 30l tank for seahorses. Has anyone here done a seahorse tank? Can you set one up with PC or vho lighting or do they require something else? I was thinking of doing a seahorse and unique invert (crustaceans) tank combo. Will that w...

DTs might work if you don't mind having a mixed phyto culture. That in itself can be a pain to work with since those three cultures that are in the bottle have difference growth rates and nutrient demands. Otherwise, I suggest two places: First-Aquatic Eco-systems http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm...

Montis??
Anybody got any green or purple montiporas they'd like to trade or sell? I've been trying to find that green w/ purple tip and white polyped one. Besides offering $$, I just fragged up a couple silver gorgonians (photosynthetic ones), kenya trees, and pink pulsing xenia for possible trade. Frag or w...
