I think the answer to your question is yes, they're open and yes, they're still setting everything up. I went by and looked around, I'd say it's about 1/2 way stocke...

I have seen yours Jeff and they are awesome looking. But, after my son n law spent the entire weekend pulling 20+ nudibranches from my zoa tank, (they were have a feast on the zoas), I have to ask you, are yours safe for Zoas? According to the link krazyplace posted, they're not nudis. Scutus is no...

Looks like an arachnid...

I pulled some critter from a new piece I got. It looks like a tick or spider; 8 legs, translucent. It's about the size of your average deer tick as well.
I pulled him from the tank because I couldn't identify.
What am I looking at?

Yes, but that is the one they had on the site.
The only difference is that the brass fitting in the picture is a valve.

If there is not a restrictor the unit will not make water (i.e. all water will be waste). Is that a HB water filter? So basically I leave the valve on the waste water output wide open, right? I can't tell you what kind it is. I was given to me by a friend and the only writing is on the membranes wh...

R/O Help

I'm trying to break in my first R/O filter (Forgive my ignorance). I don't know how much to adjust the flow on the waste water output. The only guide I could find said it should be about 4 times the output of the filtered water. Is that right?
What would happen if it was more or less than that?

What do you add to your tank?

I'd like to hear about what products everybody put in their tanks. (Supplements, trace elements, etc.)
I'm trying to find out what really provides results.
I currently dont add any Strontium or Molybdenium, do I need that?
