That is a great question. My brother-in-law is thinking of doing something like that soon.

WTB/WTT Green hammer frag.

I have been looking for a green hammer frag, does anyone have one they would like to part with for a reasonable price? I also have a few things I could trade.

Thanks,
Scott

I will go ahead and send the e-mail then. Maybe it will get a few more posters on this board.

No, do not post them. Unless you want every sleezebag to know your vitals. I will send out a group e-mail soon so that those who don't use the board can participate.

Profiles

I have been thinking about the profiles. What do you want to include? I thought that a good format would be: 1.Name/user name 2.Phone number 3.E-mail address 4.Tank info (size, lighting, filtration method, inhabitants, etc.) 5.Length of time involved in reefs. Please feel free to add to the list, ev...

How about some details. How did you set it up and where did you get it? I noticed that your 100 gallon had a very course sandbed, what substrate did you use? How much live rock? Anything else that you can think of might be important to someone.

Thanks and good luck,

Which one is Jonathan? I would be surprised if they would post the info if they knew what was said about their store.

That is the best book that I have seen. That is the price that I paid too. It has a good coral section, a fair disease section and goes into great detail on the natural enviroment of coral reefs. It is written like a text book, but would be good to keep for reference.

What kind of hammer's have you fragged. I would like to get a green hammer, but all the ones that I have seen are the phalloid (sp?) skeleton and I would be scared that the flesh would be torn. The acros that I have fragged were very easy to break and I have never had any problems fragging softies, ...

You can cut it with shears or a razor blade, but you shouldn't frag a coral until you are sure that it is growing good and has reached a decent size. Kenya's are easy to frag though.

Kevin and I have ordered from Jeff's exotics a couple of times. I woold only rate them as fair. We both had quite a few things die or fail to thrive and they did have to substitute a few things too. They do have the 9 for $99 special where yu can get some of the common things. If you don't need that...
