I have always found the pickling lime by the mason jars or the baking soda isle. I did see it at Winn Dixie the other day as well.

How big is your tank? How rapidly does your alk drop? What is your normal pH? By far the cheapest and easiest method of adjusting high demand alk and calcium is with baking soda/washing soda and calcium carbonate(Dowflake). If your uptake of these items is not very high, daily additions of kalkwasse...

That didn't end up on the cutting room floor. It was widely seen as a Toyota commercial.

His kind don't come along but every once in a while. It really is a shame. My six year old cried. I always told Robin that I thought he was a dead man walking if he kept it up. When he started getting into the water stuff I told her that could be his undoing. I found it interesting that his long tim...

Sue, I have decided to take all the rock out and "cook" it. Kind of a mini start over. I just wasn't happy. I am going to dip or treat all the corals. I have not been losing sps, but I want to get everything under control. All the sps look funny on eggcrate.

I feel your pain, I have been having my own troubles Sue. Not a lot of coral death, but fish and invert problems. Lots of algae problems as well.

BAD, BAD, BAD idea. You can never hold it perfectly straight and the thickness of a good razor at the edge will cut the molecular structure of glass very easily.

Did I mention it was a BAD idea.

Use a Pro Scrapper.
