I understand that... my last powerhead purchase was a $11 "fountain pump" from Harbor Freight... works great, but as you said, the suction cups give out after a few weeks or so... what I did was bend a clothes hanger around the outlet, and over the top edge of the tank. Works like a champ ...

Are maxijets pretty good price/value? I'm in need of at least two powerheads to cycle water through the PVC liverock racks I made for my tank.

Welp, the only thing I add is kalk-water for topoffs and flakes + Zoe/garlic soaked nori for feeding, other than that, it's hands off... what's B-ioinic, isn't that an alternative to dosing kalk?

I try not to use the 'attachments' options on BB's because that takes up bandwidth/space on the hosting service... especially when I have them hosted online already

Scott definitly has a secret he's not telling us... I got a lot of frags from him, and while they're growing at a nice/steady rate, it's nowhere as fast as the same corals in HIS tank grow. In my case, I'm attributing it to my weenie lighting system (330w power compacts, no MH's).
