I read that if you use a peice of PVC to add the sand thru it that it would cut down on the cloud, makes sense to me.

I would get at least a 1 inch PVC and cut it so its about 6inches above the water line and funnel the sand thru it to the bottom.

Good Luck

I spoke with Andy earlier and he brought up a good point, he mentioned that a printed out digital pic of what you are bring would be a good idea. As you know, frags shrink and are not what they seem to be when they are in bags or small containers.

I printed what I'm bringing.

I was in ReefScapes this weekend and the lady in there said that the PCola airport is not letting in any live shipments right now for some reason. Thats why the stores have very limited selection of stuff.

I'll be there tomorrow, does anyone have anything in perticular that they want to trade?

Is this a "for sure" gathering? If so, what time and any other details?

I'd like to post it in the panhandle forum and get a car pool together.

Thanks

Since mixing a 50/50 mix of Oceanic and Instant Ocean my tank hasnet looked better. I have made 3, 15% water changes with this mix, before I was using Oceanic and having a bad time with cynao and hair algae. Since the half and half mix, all is gone and I have a white sandbed again. Also my water par...

That looks like a great solution to rooms that require more flow and cooling because of a tank. When the fan is on it would push cool air into the room so the salt/humid air would not come in contact with it. If you installed it up the line a couple feet that would completly isolate it from the salt...
