Hello Andrew, The Angel is feeding well now. It took 5 days for him to eat but now I feel like he will survive. He is even running the other fish off from his corner. The Ich is clearing from the damsels but I now see 1 spot on my Regal. I do have a cleaner shrimp (big guy) who really earns his pay....

Inspecting the fish this morning, it looks like the ech is clearing up. I have done nothing yet (except a UV sterilizer). I can still see a little on a couple of the damsels fins (much much lass than 2 days ago). All of the other fish are still looking healthy. I will soak the food as suggested just...

Well, I woke up this morning and was missing 2 of the damsels. There was no sign of ich on any of my oldies and the ich spots on the remaining damsels looked more like scars from ich. When I first noticed the problem, there was 2 heavily covered damsels and several damsels with small amounts of ich....

I bought a black spot angel from B&B a week ago. It has been very much picked on by my sailfin. It had not ate in almost a week. My options was to move it to the sump for a little while or buy a few more fish to distract the sailfin. Yesterday I went back to B&B and bought 11 green chromis a...

Scott, Yea, I agree about the mushrooms. I tried to give all my red ones away because they pretty much killed a porites (well killed a portion of it). Those blue ones killed a new branch of a blue tipped acro. I wish I had none of them but I really am afraid of scraping them off and they are on rock...

View from the side
I thought I would post a pic from the side before the waterchange. Unfortunately the countdown is on before I have to relocate everything (moving). Hopefully most will survive. I know its a bit blurry, I need to get better with the camera.

Shag, The long sad story......I was on 1 of my 3 week excursions when my wife informed me that Dori was eating the colt. I was afraid of it sliming up and killing some of my SPSs so I asked her to remove it. It is still alive and I could possibly get some back. Maybe I can make it up to you with som...

I am still doing the west coast thing. I was in Portland, OR (I almost tried to arrange a visit to Steve Weast home to see his tank but I thought he may think I was psycho). I am now in Seattle again (sick of it). As far as the tank goes, I would say build the whole thing yourself to save money but ...

Starting over 1 more again
I am going to start completely over with my setup. Each time I start over, I try and correct problems I previously had. The problems this time were: 1. Not enough overflow 2. Not enough room for the sump and equipment Is there anything at all y'all would do different on your setup if you were starti...

Jim, I can not remember if you have a sump or not. I was looking for sometning a while back to drip Kalkwasser with that would fit under my stand. I found a 5 gallon tupperware type container with a snap lid at Lowes for about 5 bucks (I think). The container is only about 8 inches tall so it fit ni...
