I moved from another state to an apartment here. The tank setup just would not have fit and im not too sure the floor would have safely held it. now just a 29 bio cube. Kept some equipment from the old tank to run the cube, wish i would have brought more of it down though.

I miss having the bigger reef tank, I was able to keep a few utility fish in it unlike my biocube.

Always good news to hear of a fish that consumes algae and can be kept in smaller tanks.

Very nice! The magnesium trick worked for me for sure. I used the Kent brand, stuff died off withing days and have yet to see it return. 10months now.

I have a via aqua return pump/powerhead rated at 5000lph max with 4m max head. Used for a short time but I think it was used as internal return but I may be wrong.
I did the math it came out to 1320.8gph. Anyways hit me up if you need.

I had this exact problem. For me the fix was using an ato(float switch) unit to shut the skimmer down when the sump water level was too high.

After seeing one of these vortech prop pumps in action in another reefers tank I decided stop messing around and get one. Well just installed it today . Put the MP10 in my 29 bio cube, this thing is no joke. Lots of water flow all over the tank.

Picked up my new regulator and controller so im set now. Now just need media lol
