Re: Duncans/Green Nepthea
I think most times, Duncans sell for about $5 a head, but when they get larger the price comes down a bit. Depending on the number of heads/condition on the Nepthea sets that price as well, but $10-15 for a small frag.

I've got a Hamilton 250 HQI with ballast and reflector but it's not the size you need.

Re: test run
Play with the three big adjustments--f stop, shutter speed and the ISO. Each item will change the picture. As far as color saturation you need to shoot the pics in RAW format (in the camera quality settings) and then manipulate the photos in something such as Photoshop etc.
HTH and good luck.

Re: Micro bubbles
Are you running a Durso stand pipe in your drain or something similar? If not, you are pulling a partial vacuum which is sucking the air down. Unless a drain pipe is completely full of water, or sheets perfectly down all side it will suck air. Is your drain making "flushing" sounds? If so,...

Re: Can I Get An ID On THis Local Goby?
LOL! No prob. Given the habitat, I would lean more to the naked goby. They like rocks and hidey holes more. Still, withouth the fish in hand it could still be the code goby though.

Re: looking to buy corals and Frags
I've got some GSP. I will cut almost any size you want. Let me know what you are looking for and I will give you a price--it will be more than fair though I promise. I will get you a pic tomorrow afternoon if you want.

Sorry, I meant habit wise. Oyster bed, sand, grass etc. Should have made that clear.

Re: Can I Get An ID On THis Local Goby?
After looking at the pics more and checking my keys, it's either the code, Gobiosoma robustum as CaptJab suggested or the naked goby, Gobiosoma bosc . I would need a good side view and a view of the fins to be sure. Both are common, with the naked being the most common goby found locally especially ...

I would agree, but without a side profile it's really difficult to be sure.

Re: Bad day to be a crab...
LOL, my eyesight kind of sucks so I'm lucky to see a lot of small stuff! It would have been neat to see what happened to the shell, but it was about 11:00 when I found it--would have been up too late even for me I imagine.

Re: Bad day to be a crab...
I've not seen the shell since last night in the pics. It wasn't around the scoly this morning, so either it spit the crab out and it lived by retracting WAY back into its shell, or another crab already laid claim to it. The Scolymia didn't have a "bulge" to it today so I assume it didn't s...
