Tunze Stream alternative... could be

Post by Brandon »

Looks to be a cheap alternative to the Tunze Stream:
I'm waiting to see when they hit the market what the $$ will be.

Just wanted to mention, I picked up the 820 from Rich a while back for a good price. I'm pleased with this pump. I can see a big improvement in the flow in my tank since adding it, craps blowing all over the place now :)

I mounted mine without the bottom part in the tunze-like configuration, works great.

keep an eye on these. I've read a post talking about the same old problems that Rio has had. I'd clean them out often.

Mine is always on, and I still like it very much, no problems. It is solid pink from corraline and doesn't seem to have any issues, other than the usual "I hate suction cups" It has another bracket, I should use instead that goes over the side of the tank.
