Red Sea Prizm - Great Nano Skimmer

Post by Brandon »

We picked up one of these from ebay for Melissa's Nano from Ebay for $30'ish. It's shorter than a 10 gallon so fits perfectly. It has a "deluxe" kit or some such, has a great little compartment to run carbon in. It's certainly made the tank clearer in the couple of hours it has been running. Just something to think about if you're running a nano and looking for some sort of skimmer that will fit it. It's gotten some nasty looking gunk out so far... I'll update this thread in a week or so to say how it's working out. Just thought I would share.

I agree, it's a good skimmer for the lower cost. I have one on my 20 Gal. and it does a decent job. I think the deluxe just has a little skimmer cup to take the stuff from the top of the water, have one on mine.
