did you cut the foam in half on that? It seems smaller then the foam i have on the riser tube.

Josh - I have a question about noise from these. How much noise do you have from the air intake tube going into the pump? I have mine hooked up on my rock trying to get it back to shape and it seems to make a bit of a gurgling sound.

This thing is a MONSTER. I have had it up for a couple of hours. It makes little to no noise. I was curious about the foam also, it also did not come with a radius fitting from pump to reactor, it came with a 90. I also noticed that it seeps water where the reaction chamber meets with the cone at that seal?? I think I need to call them.

You can muffle it. Drill a hole in the bottom of a film canister or pill bottle and put the tub in there, use silicone if you need it to seal it up. Drill another hole in the top of the bottle or canister.. if that isn't quiet enough you can put a cotton ball in it, you won't hear it then.

You'd have to make room to put it in your sump anyways, Terry.
