Does anyone use or know someone that uses Mercury Vapor lights on their coral tanks?

Never, i have heard of people looking in to it but the spectrum is HORRIBLE. Sometimes saving a few bucks will cost you more ten-fold, be done with it and get cheap halide.

I currently have 2 175 20k mh on my 50 gallon set up right now. I do not like the heat they produce, and seem to grow more algae than the pc bulbs I have used before, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use.
