GENX Submersible GX2400 - 635GPH

Post by Fishfood »

I have this for my chiller.. At this point I'm hoping i don't have to set the chiller up on the new tank. If i do i can run the water from my return pump becuase it is more than powerful enough. I only used it a few months before Ivan came along. It has been sitting on the shelf since. I'd like say $25 for it.

yea.. haha i went on with why and never said i was. I found it $35 new at premium aquatics. I didn't look around and they usually have decent prices. I figure it has only been in use for a few months it doesn't have much ware. I'm always open to frags I guess also.

I kind of figured you were since you listed a price and all :D . My brother-in-law is trying to set up his 90 and needs pumps. This one could be used for return or his skimmer so I am sure it will get used.

I'm not sure about the return. I don't know what the head is on it. I think it would be fine for a skimmer. It worked fine for my chiller. You would have to look at the specs on premium aquatics or something. It was a nice quiet pump.

now that i think of it you could probably use it as a return. I had mine pumping through 10 ft of hose from the sump to the chiller that was on the other side of the wall then back up into the tank which was another 10 ft back and up 4 ft. I don't know if i had it turned all the way up either.

Anyway I know its the wrong forum but it is still for sale.

Well if he can't use it I can use it on my skimmer and he can use my skimmer pump. When we meet at lunch you can bring it.

cool, will do. Just let me know if you are getting one of those frags from phil and I'll pick it up sometime. Make it worth your trip across the bridge.
