Need a well made acrylic sump.

Post by snoopdog »

Looking for a very well made acrylic sump to go under the 75 gallon. I figure up to $300 so keep an eye out. Will need to be drilled out for the bulkheads if possible, a lid will be needed but not necessary. Keep an eye out on any forums you go to.

It is possible, gonna check to see if the Maxi-reefs will fit. Seems like a lot of extra BS i dont need though. But if the pirce is right.....

One thing to consider though, the custom sumps are partitioned and normally have places for float switched and probes.

Got one more for you. I just got the specials email from Jeff's Exotic Fish. They have the Southbay 180 skimmer on sale for $149. I think this is a today only special, and I don't have any information on the dimensions of this sump.

I would love to have one also. How big is that return area? Looks kinda small, and I would need to fit a 9.5 mag in there.

I just noticed I said "skimmer" in my post,.. ahh well.. you knew what I meant.. That seems like a sweet deal, I will have to do some measurements and see if that would work for me.
