Will a home depot ballast rated for 14-20watts run a 9w pc lamp? Ive heard you can use an overrated ballast as long as its within a few watts difference? Anyone have any experience? I did fire my 9w pc lamp with a 25watt ballast and it worked, but Im not sure how long it last???? the ballast seemed hotter than usual...
