I guess maybe.... if you're not a DIY kind of guy, that'd be a good deal. I would have gone DIY and built that setup for a little cheaper than $445 (shipped).

Me, personally, I'm gonna do the lighting for a 240G (4 x 250w, 4 x 6' VHO's and reflectors/bulbs) for about $1k, I totalled it up the other day. But again, if you're not the DIY kind of person, it'd cost a bunch more.

In retrospect, that seemed a little rude on my part. I do think the ebay stuff at least does look nice. I'm just a large proponent of "save cash and DIY!"

A lot of it depends on what you really feel comfortable with. I bought 2 400 watt MH ballast, aluminum enclosures, 2 Iwasaki bulbs, mogul sockets and switches for $180 and assembled it myself. Granted, most of it was used, but that is what I could afford and still get what I wanted. I also feel very comfortable wiring and modifying the enclosure that was designed for one ballast and capacitor to house two ballasts and capacitors and would do it again to save the extra cash.

That reminds me too Mike .... I need to pick up those 2 660's tomorrow......
Lemme know if you will be home. If not then take them to work and I will stop by.
