Water Filter

Post by coastie02 »

Does anyone have any experiences with this item? The link is below. I have a 55 gallon saltwater tank that I do top off and do water changes on, but for me I'm not sure if it is economical to spend around $200 for a RO unit that does 75 gallons per day. Not sure if the water quality around here will make this economical or not. Any input would be appreciated on this because I am not too familiar with this equipment, but am wanting to do something so I'm not having to constantly run to the stores for water.

Thanks

Short of buying water, it is the most expensive long-term option. Look into one of these instead: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/75- ... ystem.html

Thanks for the response. I've been out of town, sorry for the long response from me. How often do you have to replace the filters on that item and do you get the filters locally or from the website?
