Okay folks.....lets put this in to perspective shall we? This guy is running 8 mh bulbs - 1000 watts each and 6 VHO's at 165 watts each. Total wattage = 8990 watts of light. My tank has 3 - 400 watters and 3 - 250 watters.... Total wattage = 1950.

My power bill was $400 last month. Before the tank it was never above $150!

This guy is insane!

His current aquarium is in Mike's book, I think "Ultimate Aquariums" . His name is Steve Weast, a homebuilder. Figures. That lighting hood is for his upgraded tank, approx 700-900 Gallons, that he is currently installing. Freaking huge! He took down his 500 gallon tank I think.

Wish I was a homebuilder,
John

You have to admire the creativity of an architect. I know what I want in a house, but putting it on paper is a different thing.

I am probably way to late on this but I saw this guy's new setup on SWF.com once. 800 gallons that is amazing. Had pics of the garage where all plumbing and lighting was located. Simply incredible.

I'm just a home wrecker. That kinda looks like a large scale version of Xsters setup.
