Just bought this camera from walmart for 398 plus tax.

I'm still trying to figure this camera out. I'm not a total photo amateur but i'm pretty close. These 2 pics were pretty much before reading the manual.

I like it.

Nice pieces! Did you purchase them online? I still can't take good pics with my Nikon Coolpix 750. It looks like your color is pretty good. I have the hardest time getting purple to show up.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.

You can get some really nice diving cases for the 4300.

Great pics. Both Mike (reeferpuffer) and I have the same camera. Not that bad, but I am still figuring out how to use the aftermarket lenses and attachments.

Thanks for the kind words all. :)

Scott: I got the top piece from aquarium fantasies in mtgy. The bottom piece I got from panhandle pets in pcbeach fl. It was in pretty bad shape when I got it. most of the tips if you can see it were broken off with bad handling prior to my purchases. paid about 35 for each piece if i remember correctly.

Snakeman: thats one of the factors in my purchase decision. I am a certified master diver but I rarely get to go. I need to buy new gear too and thats slowing me down. Soon though.

Xster: great news, other people with the same cam. I think I want to get an extra battery and an ac adapter from newegg.com...would cost 47 shipped. I also want to get a lens barrel adapter, a UV filter and some macro/wide angle lenses and could use some insight on where you got yours and how you like them.

Mike Ikelite makes a really good case but they are really high, There are a bunch of different case but don't go cheap or you will have a wet camera. I'll have to get back with you. I've got a magazine with some in it at home.

Jperkins You can get some really good deals at the Gulf coast divers auction they have every year in mobile.

I haven't gotten any filters or lenses yet, still using the supplied lens but getting a little better at the pics.

What kind of lights are you using? That's pretty good color on the acro.
