Led help

Post by kdh3269 »

Ok guys I need all you lighting geniuses to help me out. I have an older version of aquapod 24 and have been wanting to change over to the led setup. Right now all I have is two 28w pcs, 2 bluemoons and just one fan. All of this is stock. I am thinking about a diy retrofit from rapidled.com. What I need help with is which kit would be best and also how to arrange them. I was looking at the 12 led kit but if anybody has a better option that would be great. I was also considering doing a small supplemental actinic but that may be too much. I am attaching a photo of my current setup so you can see how my lights are currently arranged. Once I gut it out and take the reflector out I will have about a 18x8 area to work with. Just give me any ideas yall may have.

This is the supplemental actinic:

This is not my tank but this is identical to the setup I currently have
