Spectrapure vs Bulk reef supply ro/di system

Post by dlarocca231 »

Hi,

I am looking into purchasing a ro/di system. I was looking at the spectrapure Max/Cap 90 and the bulk reef supply 75 gpd ro/di 6 stage deluxe. What do you guys think about these? Which one is a better system?

Thanks,

David

Structurally, nothing. With Spectrapure you are getting tweaked and tested components-mostly the same as you would get from BRS. The Spectrapure ones usually boast higher efficiency and longer life. You can stibut get decent life and efficiency, but you'll pay more for Spectrapure's optimizations. Overall, you can't go wrong either way. If you don't want to pay for completely tweaked-out units, go with BRS.
