Has anyone delt with or heard anything about these people. I was looking at there 70 watt MH retro fit kit for my cube. It seems like a good price, comes pre wired i think the onlything i would need to get is a reflector and UV glass shield.

Here is a 70 watt ballast pretty cheap. Does that kit include the bulb?

yeah this kit includes

# 70W AROMAT ELECTRONIC BALLAST - This is the new 5EU model
# Junction box - All connections are made inside junction box.
# Lamp - Ushio 70W HQI 10,000k Double Ended bulb.
# Socket - Ceramic HQI Socket.

The kit is pre-wired with a 6 ft., heavy duty, 14 gauge socket cord and a 6 ft. grounded power plug.

I found this place through my web referrals, what's funny is that I was born in Mobile and most of my family living still lives there! I miss it, especially this time of year as the weather in Ohio is terrible until about April! :)

To answer your question though, you will need a reflector and a UV shield. Window glass does a pretty good job of blocking UVB and UVC, but isn't very good at blocking the UVA. Tempered glass does a better job, so I recommend that.

Good link for some recommendations on what lets UV through and what blocks it.
