what is it?

Polyps look like a torch, but I have never seen a torch with a skeleton like this before. The whole thing is about the size of a golf ball and the polyps maybe dime-nickel sized.

Looks like a torch to me too. When it opens up get some more pics and we should be able to tell for sure.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.

I've just never seen a torch with the skeleton like this, but...

Of course when I first saw one of those hammers that grow in a "wall" instead of branching, well...

So this is as full as it was at the store. Only 3 hours or so in the tank and looking good so far.

I got it over at Water World in P'cola Saturday. They had I think 3 more chunks of it in the $10 frag tank.

Do you live in P'cola, and are you going to the meeting on Saturday. If so would it be posible to pick up one for me and I will pay you back at the meeting. If not I may be able to go over this weekend. Thanks

nah,

I live in Fairhope and go over to p'cola once every couple of months or so. Maybe one of the other guys coming could pick one up though.

I may have to go over there for work tommorrow and if my schedule iisn't crammed like I think it will be I might be able to swing by. But I would hate to promise anything. Busy Busy Friday run at work.

Daniel no problem, but could I ask you one more thing. Could you pick me up a thing of the $20 zoos also. The $10 ones will also work if you they are out of the $20. Thanks andy

hmmm...

someone must have snatched up the other frags of it. I didn't remeber seeing any large colonies of it though. It's deffinatley not a Hammer though, but if there were hammers that benached like this I might have to get me one of those some day.

oh yeah, good thing I didn't promise. Work added like 6 more stops to the list and I pushed the p'cola run until Monday.
