flat worm?

i saw these for the first time tonight on my glass. found them being discussed on another forum as harmless copepod eating worms. anyone else have an opinion?

They are flatworms, but look like the non harming variety.

I had them a while ago and one day they were just gone. But I agree with snoop they are the harmless ones. They actually eat the bad (red) ones. So if anyone on the boards has bad ones you might become their friend really quickly 8) .

well, they just kind of bloomed i think. ive never noticed them before but now they are everywhere. but hey, i also found a peppermint shrimp and some other sort of green shrimp in my fuge that i never put in there. so, the worms could have been there all along! :wink:

I actually think that it is a small harmless variety of nudibranch that feed on algae in the tanks... i have had them several times they seem to come and go...

crsswift70 was right to begin with--it is a common copepod eating flatworm--Amphiscolops sp.
