I have a plant that is growing on the underside of a rock in my 29 galon tank, it almost looks likea form of caulerpa. each leaf is about 1-2mm and it the leaves cover every inch of the plant
it also came in on a rock from a freshwater tank if this helps.

If it grows out of little nodules, and starts out green & will shift to brown it is most likely sargassum, and it will die off. If you can identify it as Sargassum, pick off what you can and toss it.

Me personally, I pick off all the little seeds off the rock with a knife point. They pry right off. Sargassum is some nasty stuff.
