parting out 110 sps/lps reef

Post by SaltnLime »

It is probably obvious from my lack of posting here (and I love this forum) I don't seem to have time for this hobby and I cant do tank maintenance like I need to....so I am selling it before I lose any of the corals I have worked hard to grow......well not hard but you know what I mean .

I will be selling my 110 reef tank, and will part it out if anyone is interested...with the understanding that it is up and running and livestock must go first.......... I hope my deals will be good but don;t be afraid to ask...if i cant sell if for what you want I will say no.

I still have what I think is a nice collection of sps and lps corals though I would need to wipe the glass to see them. most of the stuff was grown from frags I purchased or were given to me...many who's origin was from reputable coral sellers such as Reefer Madness and Tyree ranging from frag size to full colonies.

******anyone interested in corals please note that I currently have red planaria (flat worms) in my tank. If you are not familiar with them do some reading before purchasing the corals ...they are not the coral eating kind but are considered a nuisance and toxic in large numbers.....the short of it is they can be removed by dipping which you should do to all new corals as i did not, and that is where i got them from....and I have seem them in most storefront tanks. Also I did not have wrasses or fish that would eat them.. Anyway, most all reefkeepers know what they are and dip frags but i did not want anyone to buy a coral , not dip or treat them and later on complain ....****

I will have a full list for sps and lps in the next day or so....also equiptment specifics... make offer. I will try to take pics but am limited on time and it will take an hour to clean the glass  If no offers I will go in and price stuff... Just as an idea of what i am asking...most colonies will be 20-40 dollars and frag stuff will be half that..maybe less...buy more pay less : ) .....with a few rare exceptions......that should be about 1/4 retail..or so. Some corals I have have are :

tyree's geen poly toad stool (silver dollas size with a baby...i split this one early on and it's clone is growing great in someones tank...a nice tan coral with bright long green polyps. look this one up... This was on a waiting list when i got it.

Blue stag.....small col-nice blue coloration throughout.

purple milli - nice large colony. Need to see it.

blue tip milli- again about same size as the purple..both reefer madness pieces. this one is bluish/pinkish...both are long polyp

Red milli- small

red birdsnest-- this thing was red...but is now more pink..still nice coloration.

huge thick red stag with blue tips...thicker than you thumb and over a foot long....i can frag this one.

large pink and green tip frogspawn **edit**

lage bright green trumpet coral (40 heads??)

torch coral- two pieces...probalby 10-12 heasds each

orange fungia- the bright orange one

meat coral-green and red (receeded last summer and is almost all the way back now.

red catspaw--fist size...nice coloration i think

large bright green sinulara (finger leather) x 2

some sps that is blue tipped....kinda like a prostrata..now sure

green milli-small (5 tips)

green slimer- large

orange monti cap- small

orange monti digitata- i like this large piece..good polyp ext.almost looks fuzzy

blue tipped stag- large

several others to come as I go in there and make an inventory......

Live rock ALOT!!!

equiptment ...well i have a

tunze and single controller (6000 I think I will look it up))
Three cooltouch 250 w MH ballast in thier heat sink boxes (2 in one ..one in the other)..they have integrated cords and porcelin caps..three ushio 10k's come with them...still offering good light.

6 vho bulbs (4 months use)

2 ice cap 660's ..one just refurbished with dimmer

nautilus skimmer te with mag 9.5 or seperate?

Geo 618 calcium reactor with 20lb and 2.5 lb aluminum bottles and a really expensive precision needle valve. miwaukee guages and milwaukee ph controller. Like new condition.

I'll take the purple milli or the blue tip milli if you have one of them unspoken for.

YOU SUCK!!!

After everyone else gets what they want let me know what you have left. I may have some place that I can keep them until I am ready.
Wanted: to set up a tank again.
