FS: Tunze, IceCap, Oceanrunner (updated 5/22)

Post by Amphiprion »

I've got a brand new Oceanrunner 6500 that I had ordered. It was in the sump for a couple of days prior to me taking the tank down.-- $125
Specs:
- Flow Rate: 1,700 GPH
- Power Consumption: 115 Watts
- Max. head 12.5 ft.
- 1" output; 1 1/4" intake
http://www.aqua-medic.com/products/docs/OR_Pumps.pdf

Older IceCap 660, fully refurbished last year by IceCap (which cost me $70, minus shipping)--Currently unavailable pending pickup.

Earlier model Tunze 6100 (big), modified to approx. 4500-5000 gph; singlecontoller, transformer, and new driver-- $150
(if you don't want the modified intake, new ones cost $25 from Tunze). This sounds like a ridiculous amount of flow, but it is actually quite gentle. I have cut down the volute, making a very, very broad flow pattern (more diffuse than anything on the commercial stock pumps on the market right now). It is extremely gentle, but moves a lot of volume. I had this in a shallow 40 breeder and it didn't even move the sand around.

If you are interested, PM me and call me @ 251-689-9594

That's an awesome deal on the 6100, if I was currently employed. I'd be all over that.

Could you post a pic of the tunze, particularly the modded part? Does it have the magnet mount?

I'll get a picture up briefly. Only the removable volute/screen is modded, not the pump itself. It also does include the magnet mount.
