Livestock and other stuff FS cheap to good homes

Post by Neuticle »

Hello all, long time

My six year-old tank is starting to slip and I'd like to get rid of the livestock before it crashes, I just don't have the time anymore. All livestock is top notch, and has been in a closed system for years.

I have the following:

6" Derasa Clam
6" Squamosa Clam
Various soft corals, nothing too rare or fabulous
A few hard corals left
Tiger-Tail cucumbers
Ugly cucumber
6 or 7" Foxface, very friendly, spits water for food, eats out of your hand
4" Blue jaw trigger, male, friendly nips fingers for food
Pair of Ocellaris, A++ Black male, Clean orange female, regular egg layer
5" Kole, getting mature, starting to show banners on tail fin
3 stripe damsels
Target Mandarin, eats all sorts of food, pellets mysis etc
6-line
Urchin

My first priority is getting the clams out, I know they're the most sensitive. Make an offer, I'm not greedy and I want them to be cared for.

After the livestock goes, I've got 200lbs of rock and decent equipment (100 gal tank). I'd gladly make an incredible package deal to see the livestock go to someone who is capable of caring for it.

My name is Henry, e-mail me with a name number and what you're interested in and we'll work out a great deal for you.

What are you asking for the various items? Also, are you interested in working a trade or just cash? I closed my gift store last year and still have plenty of collectables left and with Christmas just around the corner.....?

Would you list the corals you have and do you have any pics of them?

What do you want for the target mandarin? And do you know if it's male/female (males have larger dorsal usually with spots while females usually have vert small dorsal.

Hello everybody, sorry about accidentally ignoring the thread.

It doesn't sound like anything firm on the clams yet, I'll take $60 for the pair.

As far as the good corals left, I have a decent sized colony of green palythoa gigantea left, (the kind that goes for $10-25 a head), easily 20 heads, I'll take $50. I also have a colony of pink palys (maybe 50++ heads?) I'll take $25 for.

I also have rocks with mushrooms, xenia, kenya, palys, and zoanthids on them. I don't want a whole bunch for them

I'm making myself available all day to get rid of my livestock, so if you want something PM me or give me a call. I'm looking for cash, but I promise you won't go broke, my asking prices are probably 5-25% of what you'd pay at a local fish store, I won't turn much down.

OK, minus the stuff I've sold and the stuff claimed by people I've met before, the remaining livestock is:

Blue Jaw Trigger, reef safe with clams and shrimp, good personality
Damsels, free with any other livestock that requires me to remove all the rock to catch
Six Line
Florida Cucumber
Tiger Tail Cucumber clone (might have more than 1 left)
Florida Urchin, had for years, reef safe
Rock with various corals attached (Kenya trees, Palys, Zoas, Mushrooms frilly and blue)
Colony of brick red zoas
Mushroom colonies
Rocks, small and large

Then the equipment liquidation begins.

I'll piece out the equipment if I can't sell it all as a package.

$500 will get you the tank and everything needed to run it including an Octopus Extreme 200, 4x48" T5HO, 2x150w Halides, 200lbs of rock, and loads of other nonsense.

I was wondering if you had a clean up crew still. If so what do you have. I'm setting my reef back up and need to get 4 hermits, 6-8 various algae eating snails and a tuxedo pincushion urchin. Do you happen to have any of these.

I never bought into the clean up crew idea, but I do have a ton of brittle stars that have multiplied naturally in my tank.

I've got a couple of hermits, but they're just little brown ones, and I doubt I could find them if I needed to. Buy a couple hundred pounds of rock from me and I bet we'll find them :D

I would buy all the rock but the thing is all the rocks I need is like two rocks the size of baseballs. Plus its only a 20 gallon long. i also have a ton of tiny bristle stars, ampipods, tiny tiny snails and bristle worms. what about the urchin in the picture. what species is it and what is your price?
