do i have to scrape all the old silicone off or can i go over it its for my sump

I would scrape all of the old silicone off around the area that is leaking. Then resilicone.

Yeah, from what i've read, cut all you can off, clean the glass really well, tape the edges, then re-silicone. I think the tape is just for us inexperienced folks so we can get straight edges.

yea i need all the help i can get got one bad eye and cant see out the other :lol: i was thinking i had too get all the old out but just checking so ty for the help
