My opinion on the superman monti... don't get it. I'd advise against any encrusting monti honestly unless you are going to put them on rocks that are not touching any of the other rockwork. They damn near took over my tank. I have some superman monti if you are still interested in getting some. Heck I have an entire tonga branch covered in it.

Some of the critters:

Image

The chaeto didn't need much so I have a five gallon setup and I'm gonna run it for pods, when I need them dump them in, thinking about a spotted mandarin (male).

Image

One of the misc. Hermits got about 6

Image

One of the nass. snail got 5

Image

The astrae star on one of the cerith snails got 5.

Image

Stomatella snail got about 6

Then got a starter group of amphipods and copepods with my chaeto.

Also:

Went with eggcrate for my top instead of glass.

Feed those guys mysid once and a while and they well grow a lot faster. I just never took the time to use a turkey baster to get it down to them in my tank.

in your pictures both blastos are fully open. when food comes into contact with then they just suck it in. I just never did spot feeding in my tank. Plus the damn shrimp would usually steal the food anyway.

Feed the corals brine shrimp, thought they was gonna pop they responded well to food. Ate it like champs. Couldn't pick up the Mysid like I liked to have had as petsmart was out.

Not much of an update, its more pics of the same inhabitants. I'm not adding anything until this small diatom blooms goes away. It just the bloom right after a cycle because its the first and only algae to ever show up.

Here is the pics:

Image

Pink Pincushion Urchin, found some shells.

Image

The Purple/Green Blasto Is Huge Surprised If It Doesn't Make A New Head Soon.

Image

Not A Good Pic But The Best I Had. The Red Blasto Has Grown And Gained Somewhat Wavy Appearance. Unlike The Purple/Green That Is Rounded.

Image

These Green Candy Canes Are Huge, They Should Be Splitting Soon. They Have Tripled In Size Since I Got Them.

Comment Guys And Let Me Know What You Think.

So how is this tank doing? I'm also curious how your plants are doing in your new vivarium.
