In case anyone was wondering http://forum.marinedepot.com/

I was a little surprised at that one.
The particular forums haven't opened just yet. Supposed to be up in the next day or two.

I just wonder if Marine Depot is really prepared for the number of people who are going to join that site. I feel kind of sorry for the people who have been using it for the last year or so. What a shock it'll be for them.

....and surely none of them will be biased now that they are on a true commercial forum.

This could certainly be a double edged sword for Marine Depot. I certainly better not hear or even think they raised prices to pay experts. In fact the more I think about it, the less benefit I see for Marine Depot.

Marine depot has been one of my favorite places to purchase equipment and stuff.

Not sure about the prices, but Marine Depot has assured the experts that they may bash away at any and all products it sells to their hearts' content. I think that is just funny--but not necessarily great for MD.
