Lighting Cycle

Post by jmjohnson77 »

Is it OK to have all of my lights come on at the same time? Is there really a benefit to actinics first then daylights second? If so, what is the proper schedule?

The reason have the lights turn on at different times is, for one to see the florescence of the corals and two when you are running metal halides you only really need to run the halides for 5 or 6 hours and then they run the actinic lights so they still have light on the tank to see it.
