Mystery Coral Update

Post by Redfish »

Upon fragging the mystery coral has begun to show numerous mouths. Narrowing the field, based on the mouth type, to echinopora or better yet echinopyllia.

Again, please excuse the crappy Nikon 2100 and my meager photographic abilities.

After searching around on http://whelk.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/coralid_search.php and looking at what other people are calling their chalice corals I believe I am more confused now than ever. I think yours looks more like and Echinopora than any of the others though. Has it changed colors at all?
Wanted: to set up a tank again.

No it has not really changed colors. I do believe it is an echinopora.
