Unfortunately when I combined tanks a month ago I crashed the tank, things are just starting to grow back. It will probably be close to a year before things are growing like they used to. You are correct though it is renewal time.

I know this thread is old..... but have we ever considered some sort of frag swap with a buy in? I would think this might out on the cost of forum maintenance.

The cost of running the forum is really minimal. The only thing I have as far as extra corals is Anthellia which seems to grow a lot like crabgrass.
