Hi Jim, where are you located? Where are you getting your live rock from?

What size tank? This will help in trying to picture what you are trying to do?

Glad to meet you Jim. Hope to see you at the meeting. Where abouts are you getting your live rock from. Gulfview. com has a special for 40 pounds shipped to your door for 198.00$ They got awesome live rock, but you have to check for mantis shrimp. For 2.99 a pound you can't beat it.

saltwaterfish.com has 45-50 lbs pre cured fiji for $199 with free shipping. I think you have less of a chance to get a mantis shrimp in that stuff. I'm not sure of the quality though.

Saltwater fish has some nice things, but the gulfview has the most awesome color and growth I've ever seen. Like I said before the mantis shrimp can be a problem. I have personally talked to the owner before and he is outstanding on customer service. He said to let him know exactly what I wanted to do with the rock and he would hand pick it for my own design.
