Message board isn't as active as it seemed like it used to be. Maybe it is just me. Sorry, just bored out of my mind and trying to start some friendly conversation.

It is the old slacker members, you need to get them perked up. Plus a lot of people read the post, but not contribute to the forum (lurking trolls) and in the end does not help the content of the forum, making it become stagnant. I try to keep things interesting but there again I run out of stuff. It is hard to post anything about my tanks, they have been setup so long other than growth nothing changes. I no longer need to buy equipment so there is no discussion yet again. Later down the road when I upgrade the 26 gallon things will get real interested because it will be a site to see, I have enough ideas going on in my head about "what could be"

It used to be all I could do to read the new posts everynight, now I can check once a week. It was new back then and a lot of the contributing members (including me) have either lost their tank along with a lot more in Katrina or have busy schedules. It would take a lot of input from everyone that even occasionally visits the board for it to be like it was but I still think it's a good place to come and read. It is the only reef related board that I have time to visit anymore, at least for now. Oh, well back to work for me.

But you still have to think we are the only real reef board in the area still in still running and posted to daily. We are not as big as Reefcentral or maybe Reefs.org but those are commercial boards. We have no spam mail, no ads, no spyware, no malware. People's interest change, there time for there tanks change with the life duties. And yes people have lost a lot with the storms.
