I had no idea they were to the point of manufacturing these. That is unreal, and 4gb to boot. I know the access time, throughput cannot be very good though. They had a review on putting 2.5 inch laptop drives in a pc and the results were not encouraging in the throughput. These will be phenominal on MP3 players and phones though. I have to think though with the enhancements in flash technology were will these be beneficial ? You can get 1-2 gig in flash for great prices now, and the speed would have to be better than a hard drive ?

I think this is awesome, think about the battery consumpion and use those on laptop purely for storage purpose.
