I just got back from the doctor and had to announce that everyhting was normal. I had a CT scan Sunday and he read the results and all was normal. I have to go back in three months and have a chest x-ray and blood work done , but this was my first checkup since my surgery and radiation therapy.
Not to preach, but if anyone that reads this has anything that is unusual, please have it checked out. I had not been to the doctor for more than three years before last September. I would not have gone as soon as I did if it were not for my wife, but men can be like that. I am glad I did, it could have been much worse if I had procrastinated.

That is so great!!!!!!!!!!!! We have had you in our thoughts ever since we found out. I agree completely about having anything out of the ordinary checked out, it is so easy to miss something. I am so glad you found it when you did.

No, you shouldn't be ashamed or sory for anything. I am very lighthaearted about it. There is no reason to stress yourself out about something that can't be helped as long as you make sure ot do everything to make sure it doesn't reoccur. My wife and I have even kidded around about it and I am cool with it. BTW, I am normal, the doctor told me so.
