Here is the e-mail that I intend to send to those that have not attended any reef club meetings and I know are in our area please feel free to tell me what you think and what I might add or delete:
My Name is Scott Harper. There are quite a few who share the same interest in saltwater aquaria and corals in your area. If you are interested in any of the following please e-mail me at rscotth45@aol.com or visit or local website at http://boards.reefcrazed.com
1. Learn new techniques or methods of successful reef keepers.
2. Trade, sell or purchase captive bred coral fragments or drygoods.
3. See systems that have been running successfully for several months to years.
4. Find out where to buy 200 gallon buckets of salt for $47.99.
5. Find out about new vendors in the area.
6. Participate in bulk orders from online distributors.
7. Find out when and where the next Mobile Area Reef Keepers meeting will be held.
If none of these apply to you or you believe that you have mistakenly received this e-mail please send me a blank e-mail with unsubscribe in the subject.
Thanks,
Scott
I think that these items are the foundation of our club, but i may have missed a few important things, let me know.
OH you INTEND to send it, I brain farted and thought you had already done it. Actually I think it's pretty consise as to the purpose of the club. Way back when when I bumped the Alabama post on reef central, this is exactly what I was looking for. I for one would like to meet the people that buy all those clown fish from B&B.
"nothing is the matter, it don't matter what you think"
I think all their fish just die. I can say that I have seen very few being purchased and I used to spend a fair amount of time there on Thursday when they get their shipment.
I tell you what guys... I saw some absolutely beautiful Black and White Perc's there about 2 weeks ago... I had a hard time walking away from that tank..
Wonder what it is going to take to get a bigger tank?????
I sent it, we will see if there are any reponses or new members on this forum. I talked to a guy today that is setting up a 75 gallon. I hope that he will come to the meetings.
