Spotted Yellow Tang?
What is wrong with my tang? All of my fish are fine except for my tang. He is eating good and really does not show any signs that it is sick except for the spots. I had a fish that got the same thing a few weeks back so I took him out. I don't know what to do with him.

Well....hrm. My post about HLLE disease went away...well, just in case...we had a similar situation with Spike, our Purple Tang and we've been feeding broccoli florets and zoe soaked Nori (green and brown).
I don't have the link anymore, but it was on about.com under fish diseases. It appears to have done the trick with Spike.
Now if he'd just leave the bristle worms alone!!!

Biggest thing about any Fish skin irritation is to look if the lesions are above the skin or is the skin missing scales, without extremely close up pictures it is hard to determine a fish problem, even more when it is not a common disease such as Ich. Other Tangs get at war with similar Tang shaped species and will injure one another with there tail barbs, a possibility.

I am not sure of the disease, but I have had LOTS of experiences with tangs fighting. Tangs usually leave gashes on their victims not little round white holes. My Powder Blue use to slice fish up like he was carrying a switchblade. His fighting left big bloody gashes!
Hope your fishy gets better!

Well not to my experience either, normally long thin slashes in the fins, and blackish color spots on the fins are a mystery too.
